The new issue of Canadian Notes and Queries is now out.
I’ve never really been sure what the title of that magazine was supposed to mean. But, in any case, the new issue includes a review by yours truly of Zsuzsi Gartner’s excellent (if I’ve made the case) short story collection, Better Living Through Plastic Explosives (Penguin, 2011).
See also my interview with Ms. Gartner at The Danforth Review (2011).
I’ve been working my way through the new issue of CNQ, and I recommend many of the pieces. Faith or religion is nominally the theme, but don’t let that deter you.
Please, check it out.
